...well...more like.....was released.

Hey guys,

I came out of the hospital around 2pm Monday afternoon.  Went straight to bed and woke up...pretty much at the time I'm writing this blog.  

Before I get started, I want to thank all you guys for your support.  I never expected so many people to leave so  many kind words.  All of your comments and notes mean a lot.  Seriously, I'm deeply grateful.  Who knew a hospital trip was all it would take for everyone to stop by?

Okay so let me lay it all out here since it seems many were concerned.  I have a brain tumor that developed since I was 4-years-old.  It's been benign all my life, but it's in a spot that makes it inoperable---or rather, the fear is if it's operated on, I'll be a "veggie tale."  The other thing is it grows something like 0.37mm a year.  It's this growth that is the cause of me having violent seizures from time to time.  They vary greatly and with no real explanation.  I don't know what triggers them, or what prevents one from being better or worse than the other.  I just stay drugged up and ride it out, hoping to come out of it intact.  

This last one from a week ago was the type I'm used to having---knocks me on my ass for a week and takes another week to really feel like I'm strong enough to function normally.  I got a little worried because usually when it's these types of episodes, my manual dexterity isn't so hampered.  I was concerned it might mean I would have a loss in drawing ability for...a month, two months...who knows.   

I got lucky.  By the time Saturday came around, I was already feeling stronger.  No need for physical therapy---thank the maker, 'cause that shit is INSANELY expensive and I'm already up to my ears in medical debt.  Just having to stay hospitalized for a week is raping me financially.

*sigh*  well, it is what it is.  

So yeah, gimme a couple days or so to get back to fighting form.  I can hold a pencil just fine, and clearly I can type so my tactile reflexes are unhindered.   It's really gonna just be fatigue now.  I'm gonna be drained for the next week or so until all that crap medicine is out of my system.  The VG EXILES page on DA will get an another news update in a few weeks.
