This is it---
During Christmas time, I ran an Original Character Contest. Fellow deviants would show me their best characters. The three winners would get to have their characters designed by me.  Here's my second runner up-- Here's what her creator had to say about her: "In my superhero series, "Urban Warriors" there is going to be a character named Rayne. She has superstrength, flight, and weather is controlled by her emotional state. When I created Rayne(she used to be called Rain) , I didn't really want to create another "Storm", and Rayne is by far nothing like Storm in terms of personality, save for the fact that they are both strong black women who control the weather. Anyways, Rayne's story in the series will start with her remembering her superhero boyfriend Jermaine who went by the name Fyre/Sunny. He died while fighting an evil menace, and this is a scene of her remembering him. He is basically her anchor, even in death...." Pretty deep  I remixed her costume slightly, gave her sleek goggles instead of shades, and got technical with her glove designs. Enjoy everybody, and congrats, Tre!  Rayne © artwork ©  moi |
